LIFE AS THE ACCIDENTAL RACER & FUTURE
Maria was inducted on to the Federation Internationale de Motorcyclist (FIM) Women in Motorcycling Commission in 2013 and was a mentor for the young riders competing in the Women’s European Junior Cup.
She is an Ambassador for ex-F1 driver Susie Wolff’s ‘Dare to Be Different’ campaign to help drive female talent.
Maria was an IAM RoadSmart Road Safety Ambassador from 2018 – 2019.
Also in 2018 she became the first female President in the 67-year history of the TT Riders Association, which does great work in helping TT racers and their families who have fallen on hard times, a charity close to her heart.
